Tire

Tire label Tire Vulcanization and Distribution Labels There are two types of tire labels: Tire Vulcanization Labels: These barcode labels provide product traceability during manufacturing. Applying pressure to the label while exposed to high temperatures (200°C) can damage the printed message. Tire Distribution Label: Contains user-specific identifying information (make, model, and size). It must be completely clear at the point of sale and be resistant to all forms of attack during transport and storage. Tire Label Printing Constraints Tire labels will be subjected to significant shocks at different stages of production and logistics: vulcanization, friction, rain, cold, long-term storage, UV rays... all of this will constitute a form of damage to the print. An unclear barcode can lead to disruption of the entire logistics chain. According to the new European standard 1222/2009 on tyrelabelling, manufacturers and importers in the European Community are required to provide end users with tyre performance data on rolling resistance, wet braking distance and noise generation. Tire labels are often pre-printed and are required to cover custom technical data for each product: size, designation, barcode, etc. CISON's Tire Label Printing Ribbon Thermal transfer technology can be used to print labels for both vulcanization and tire distribution. For tire distribution labels printed on coated or synthetic paper, CISON's wax-tree hybrid inks offer an excellent compromise between durability and cost. For harsher environments, resin inks offer improved print durability. For synthetic vulcanized labels, CISON's resin inks are recommended for printing to achieve optimum levels of heat and solvent resistance.

Signs and Logos

Print signage and logo labels Perfect clarity and exceptional durability Consisting primarily of code names and brief messages, warning labels provide information related to safety, product use, and user guidance. The advantages of thermal transfer for printing warning labels are: Excellent visual effects for printing logos, pictures and text due to the high coverage of its inks and high fidelity printheads; The ability to print both small and large labels; Compatibility with a wide variety of label materials, whether paper or synthetic; High ink density provides excellent readability for pre-printed or color labels such as those used for industrial signage; High-resistance printing ribbon: UV, solvent, friction, light, etc. CISON's Label Label Printing Ribbon CISON's wax-based inks combined with paper labels provide a competitive solution for non-corrosive environments such as the production of encapsulated vehicle license plates. With its high print quality and enhanced resistance levels, general-purpose wax-tree hybrid inks are equally suitable for both paper and synthetic print media, such as barcode labels for asset management. Resin ribbons offer the highest level of resistance and are suitable for a wide variety of manufacturing environments and outdoor applications. Warning messages on machinery fall into this category.

Nameplate

Print on the nameplate Identification throughout the life of the product The print quality and durability of nameplates are critical to keeping the data legible at all stages of its life cycle (manufacturing, use, repair and recycling). Printing solutions for harsh environments The nameplates of different products will be subject to different types of damage, such as: high temperature generated by oven and refrigerator motors, wear and tear caused by electric drills, contact with a large amount of dust, long-term exposure of air conditioners to ultraviolet rays and rain. Damaged nameplate information during repairs may affect part identification or even lead to improper use of the product. The advantage of thermal transfer technology lies in the wide variety of ribbons, which can be used with different self-adhesive labels, providing suitable solutions for various application environments. CISON Ribbon for Nameplate Printing In CISON's line of thermal transfer ribbons, resin ink ribbons are ideal for use on synthetic materials for nameplates. CISON resin inks with high adhesion on the label surface can protect the printed matter from aggressive damage: such as abrasion, solvents, heat, grease, low temperature, UV rays, etc.

Mechanical Parts

Mark mechanical parts Printing to Resist Harsh Environments Both in production and during use, mechanical parts are subject to very high and rather unpredictable constraints: grease/oil, heat, vibration, solvents, moisture, external conditions such as UV exposure, etc. Printed objects are subject to various forms of attack, and ambiguous barcodes can lead to confusion throughout a product's life cycle, including manufacturing, maintenance, warranty, and recycling. CISON's Mechanical Parts Marking Ribbon Thermal transfer printing technology makes no compromises: it can mark individual parts, print all types of barcodes (vertical, horizontal, 2D, data matrix, etc.) as well as logos and text, but also provides the durability required for the specific use environment of the part level. CISON's Thermal Transfer Ribbons are the best solution for high print durability requirements. Resin-based inks provide very durable prints and excellent clarity, even for small characters and barcodes. It is compatible with all types of coated paper and synthetic print media. Where higher levels of resistance are required, especially for solvents, resin-based products would be the recommended alternative for synthetic labels.
